RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for planning, developing, implementing testing setups and procedures in support of assessing RF platform-level performance during product development and manufacturing,

- Design and develop appropriate test environment for communication link tests including link budget verification and BER/PER,

- Developing appropriate test software to conduct related verification operations,

- Perform tests for both module/cards based, and system based regarding telecommunication subsystems,

- Collaborating closely with system design, telecommunication, RF, hardware, software and AIT engineers during system and subsystem development to investigate and solve issues related to measurement, test firmware/software and automation,

- Planning and tracking status and preparedness for multi communication link coexistence validation testing to ensure performance covering a wide range of test cases on multiple communication technologies at both conducted and radiated levels,

- Conducting detail failure analysis, analyze logs; debug test flow and automation, close test gap and correlation issues, come up with mitigation plans and drive resolution,

- Optimizing and improving of test methodologies to enhance operational efficiency in characterization on product development,

- Making recommendations for changes required in testing procedures and methodologies, manufacturing processes, and/or new testing requirements.

 

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree from the Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering departments,

- At least 4 years of experience in relevant areas,

- Knowledge in Linux operating systems,

- Experience working on communication systems bring-up, integration, development, validation, and manufacture processes,

- Practical knowledge of communication test verification and validation test equipment and systems including building blocks, RF systems characteristics of building blocks, physical layer in communications, test system design, implementation, and commissioning,

- Experience with communication system design verification and working with firmware/software engineers to enable such verifications,

- Hands-on experience using lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, and/or commercial SDRs,

- Knowledge in scripting languages (Python or similar),

- Knowledge in Matlab and GNU Radio,

- Ability to travel domestically & internationally,

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

- Initiative and proactive to find the best and fastest way to get the right decision.
